For those of you who don’t know who the Gumnut babies are; meaning you’re probably not from Australia – the ‘babies’ are protagonists of ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie’, a series of books by the Australian author May Gibbs. They are modeled on the appearance of the Eucalyptus tree nuts, that, obviously, look like babies. Very cute babies.
